Blue Legion Mattress Fundraiser Sets Record, Raises $13,000 for Band Program

The Blythewood High School Blue Legion Mattress Fundraiser was a record-setting success, with students and families helping sell 72 mattresses and raise $13,000 for the band program. he fundraiser’s success was made possible by the commitment of Blue Legion students, families, volunteers, and community supporters. Proceeds will help support the band program and the experiences, equipment, and opportunities provided to its students throughout the season.

Band Director Andrew Brown said the result reflects the strength of the program’s culture and the momentum surrounding the Blue Legion.

“I believe our success in this fundraiser is foreshadowing more great things to come.”
